Happy Chinese New Year

I been away for too long and now I am back. Like serious, I missed out lot of thing during this period. The reason I been missng is because I working for the last 9 days. Included the first and second days of Chinese New Year. So yea, here I am now. Back to my normal life. And I guess that’s so much to update and I not even know where to start with.

Let’s just start with what had I do for the past 9 days. A friend of mine asked me want to join him to work as tour guide or not and without thinking much I just promised him and attended a short and and obtain the temporary licenese for 15 days. So I been worked as a part time tour guide during this CNY period. And for someone who don’t like to talk like me, it was a huge challege for me. Because this job require lot of talking and it need to introduce your country to the tourist. So this is one of the hardest part time job ever. I think I did a not bad job because my tourist like me very much and I want to thank them for giving me an unforgettable CNY eve. I think it is a good experience and I learned a lot from this job. At least I improved my communication skill and I know I need to talk more and I can do that if I want. I been travel from JB to Melacca to Port Dickson to Genting to KL. But no photo taken because I need to guide them. So yea, for one time, I travel without taking any photo. And I get to learn lot of thing of this tourism industry. And I know what to do or what not to do when I travel next time with a tour guide.

And the best part is I earned a bit of pocket money for the 9 days of non stop working. ( actually is 8.5 days). I think I just need to save a bit more to get the down payment of my own car. Actually I still thinking and calculating what car should I get for myself but I think no rushing because I just started my job and I think for this moment just save some money first before making any big plan. But I do hope to get a car for myself before the year end or the beginning of next year. I am considering between the cheapest Proton or slightly expensive Toyota. With my current salary, if I get Toyota, the commitment will be too high. But living in KL without a car is just so inconvenience. Because everywhere is so far and actually I don’t like to ask people to fetch although I know some of them won’t mind but I just no like it. So getting a car is the plan and now the question is should I save longer for a better car or should get the cheapest car first and change it in future. Hmm… Let’s the time and money I have decide.

Although I worked for the past 8.5 days, I manage to get 0.5 days to gather with some friends. And I had a great time hanging out with them. This is what we called life. You need a group of friend that love the same thing with you and you feel comfortable to hang out with. I been missed lot of times for the gathering and this time finally I get to join. I was kinda happy because I do need a break after working for so many days.

And this is a special thanks to Calvin for nominated me in his GABLO. Actually fame is nothing but it feels good when you see people voted for you. And I would like to say Thank you to Calvin and my reader. I don’t have any expectation so even one vote it make me feel happy for the whole day. And yea, sometime we just need not to care about what other people said, some  might just jealous of what you having. And it really sad that some people are so childish and immature. Although I never meet Calvin before but I can feel he’s a good person and I will be on his side for this matter. Just do what you feel is right and there’s always someone try to pull us down when you are doing something good. It just because you at the position where they never will make it and all they call do is just try to pull you down and destroy you. Just be who you are and I just want to say: I’m always a fans of Calvin blog and thanks to him, my blog got few more reader. We always love you Calvin

Last but not least, Chinese New Year everyone. And I had decided to donate all my angpow money to SPCA and PAWS. It all about giving back to the society this year for me and I choose to help the homeless doggie. Ever since I have Derek in my life, it been a good life for me. So I hope to help other doggie. So yea, that’s all for the update and hopefully it wont be long for my next post.

Let's Talk TW,HKG.SG

Let's Talk about Taiwan. But before that, I think I never post about Hong Kong right? Actually Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore got something in common. That's the train system. Unlike Malaysia, they got lot of different line connect to different places. And you need to walk a distance to interchange train. But better than Malaysia, their train is convenient and you can get to anywhere by the train only. In Malaysia, you must have a car to able you to travel to a place, people like me that still cant drive just can stay home. That's the only thing  I like about these three country.

Weather
There are only 2 kind of weather in Malaysia and Singapore. Either hot or rain. You no need to expect there are something besides that, unless it is the end of the world, then we might experience some snow falling. The weather is much more nicer at Hong Kong and Taiwan because they got 4 season and when it is around September to December because it is autumn and winter time. So the weather is chilling and not too hot. Just the air is bit dry and you need to apply more hand cream. But the winter of Taiwan and Hong Kong is without snow. So perhaps the temperature is cold and dry but no snowing. But there are huge different in temperature between the day time and night time. And when the time I was at HK and TW, It was kinda windy during the night and Taiwan is cold.

People
I think the most friendly people is from Taiwan. And the most unfriendly people is from Hong Kong. Hong Kong people is like more rude than Singaporean. I just don't like hk people. Plus the way the talk is rude, the customer services is bad and the footstep is bit fast for me. I just dont like my life to be rush this rush that but HK people walk so fast and no time to relax. You can actually feel the stress level even you are not the citizen of hk. Macau people is much more nicer and when I was at the bus and look very blur ( I always look blur if you know me), there was a nice lady tell me where to go down and she tell the driver to remind me when it reach to that station. How sweet is that? Thanks to my charm ( SYOK MYSELF!!) Compare to Taiwanese, is like super big different. For me, I just will not want to go hk again for the short period, but surely will revisit again because I missed Disneyland and I want to go Disneyland. Taiwanese is helpful, when you don't know a direction, you can just ask anyone on the street and they will tell u if they know. In my case, the uncle even walk us to the place and he was busy doing something that time. And I do get lost few times at tw but each time get help from the local and not even one dont know from them. Such a friendly and helpful citizen. For Malaysian and Singaporean, Ignorance is the word to describe us.

Accommodation
Hong Kong is really a small place.  Even the hotel is damn freaking small. The property price of Hk is one of the most expensive in the world. So u can actually imagine that how small and expensive is hk hotel room. For Malaysian like me, I not those rich who stay at big house but my house is consider very small in Malaysia but guess what, that room I stayed at hk is smaller than my store room at Malaysia. Perhaps because of budgeted but I heard from my friends who said those famous hotel room also not really big. Taiwan is totally different. Taiwan hotel room is comfortable. At least there are space to put your luggages and a walkway to walk. Hk one just put your luggages and no place to walk already. Tw hotel is just nice and if you are lucky, you might get a cheap but big room. Plus there are home stay at taiwan and those home stay come with special theme. Highly recommended at least go for one home stay when you at Taiwan. For SG, if you got sg friend, do stay at their house, the rate is expensive and the room is also small. Not value for money.

Food
I not really big fan of food. I don't like to eat, so I just eat to live. I always think : Is there any pills that make me feel full and get the nutrition i need for my body and the grow of muscle. If got such medicine or pills, I surely gonna get one cos eating is just hassle and I simply lazy to think what to eat. How nice if there are someone to decide for me everyday. Let's go back to the topic. Food at hk is just okay. I not really like it. It just like Malaysia's Kim Gary Restaurant or Wong Kok. Nothing much special but you can try Macau food. There got pork bun and the steamed egg is nice. Must try when you at Macau. I never get to try Hong Kong  Dim Sum but got try those light snack. Some are not bad. The price is slightly expensive if convert to our currency. So for me, food at hk is expensive and not really nice. Taiwan got lot of night market and small snack and milk tea. You can easily get something to eat at Taiwan. There are lots of different kind of food. You should try all the night market and the food is not bad. The taste is different from here one. Worth to try it. For SG, I think is not much different and Malaysia food is much more better than sg food. Serious.

Shopping.
Finally, there are something good about Hong Kong. If you are someone who love branded stuff, hk definitely is the place for u to shop. There are lot's of branded shop that you can't find at Malaysia such as D&G, H&M and etc. And I bought lot of H&M at hk before sg one open. I love H&M and I think it kinda cheap also. But I never get any other branded stuff at hk, just those casual brand like Esprit and Zara. Taiwan airport is cheap also. I get one Gucci wallet very cheap at tw airport. Taiwan is more to street brand and girls can get really cheap cloth at taiwan. And there got sell lot of dog cloth also. I get one for my Derek boy. The shopping mall and MRT are pet friendly. That's bit amazing. And you can see dog everywhere. Really like everywhere even in shopping mall. But for guys casual, I would prefer to shop at sg. My shorts all get from sg one and it from Bugis street. I just a poor kid, can't afford to get those expensive shorts and for me shorts is not really important so get it from Bugis is acceptable for me. Plus it really cheap compare to Malaysia. Malaysia shorts is just expensive. I rather spend it to buy a branded shirt or polo tee than buying an expensive shorts.

I think that's all for this post. But I gonna put some picture in this post when I get home. I just too bored at the office due to nothing to do. There will be another post about Taiwan and this time i gonna post all the photo. Sorry for the delay.
